Yang Club is the latest swanky joint to grace the Clarke Quay nightlife district, having taken over the former grounds of VLV late last year.
We’re sure that the club will be around for a long time — especially after a partygoer blessed the premises with a framed portrait of himself in his Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) uniform.

The rather unusual shot was taken last Friday night (Feb 21), when DJs Sherpa and Ethan were on the decks with “all-night smashing hits” according to the event’s description on Facebook.
Club photos from the night were par for the course (colourful shots of the crowd dancing, DJs on the mixers, etc)… except for one peculiar picture.
For some reason, a clubber had brought his portrait along that night. Not just any image too — it’s the photo taken of fresh National Service recruits standing in attention next to the Singapore flag.
Why? Heck knows, but it certainly is random. And hilariously out of place enough for hundreds of people to share the post on Facebook, where it went viral. It probably brought back memories of yore, when the default post-book-out activity on Fridays would involve a visit to Clarke Quay for an inebriated night out with fellow NS buddies.
But if you thought that picture was odd, wait till you see these other shots of clubbers staying safe on the dance floor with surgical masks on.
