Asia's biggest names gather in Singapore for StarHub Night of Stars

Some of the region's biggest celebrities, including Story of Yanxi Palace actress Qin Lan and K-pop stars Cosmic Girls and Jeong Sewoon, worked the red carpet at Marina Bay Sands on Saturday afternoon (Dec 22) at the StarHub Night of Stars awards ceremony.

South Korean actor Lee Joon Gi and Chinese actress Qin Lan were the big winners of the night, taking home the 2018 StarHub Best Male and Female Asian Star Awards respectively.

On the red carpet, veteran Taiwanese entertainers Pauline Lan and Chen Meifeng proved they've still got it, turning heads in their skin-baring outfits, while some of the loudest screams from fans were reserved for the K-pop idols.

Singapore was represented by actors Thomas Ong, Ann Kok and Yanxi Palace actor Lawrence Wong, while red-carpet event host Kate Pang came with husband Andie Chen and son Aden in tow.  

Local celeb couple Fann Wong and Christopher Lee, however, were a no-show as Fann had to be rushed to hospital due to an unspecified illness, according to a post on her Instagram.

Viewers can catch the premiere of StarHub Night of Stars on Hub VV Drama (StarHub TV Channel 855) on Jan 13 at 7pm. The show will also be made available on Hub E City (StarHub TV Channel 111/825) on Jan 19, 8.45pm and Feb 4 at 4.30pm.
