Celebrity hairstylist Addy Lee's plastic surgeries go wrong, wants to sue

Hairstylist to the stars Addy Lee has posted online a photo of him looking rather different, accusing a South Korean plastic surgery clinic of botching his face job.

The Singapore-based Malaysian shared before-and-after photos of his face on Instagram on Christmas Eve. He had travelled to South Korea for four procedures with Item Clinic in September.

On Christmas Day, Lee further posted two short videos of his bandaged face, recovering from surgery.

In the first post, the 47-year-old captioned: “Failed plastic surgeries. South Korean Item Clinic’s Dr Kim made my eyes worse” and that all four procedures failed, while hashtagging “cheat” and “irresponsible”.

Lee also tagged an Elaine, whom he identified as Item’s Singapore consultant, calling her “illegal”.

His caption for the second post read: “Failed plastic surgeries. Irresponsible Item Korea and its consultants. Don’t believe Elaine because she’s not the doctor,“ with the warning, “Not all of South Korea is good,” referring to the country’s well-known cosmetic surgery industry.

In a comment, the founder of the Monsoon chain of hair salons revealed that Item told him to return after six months, which he found unacceptable.

According to Lianhe Wanbao, Lee is considering suing the clinic for turning his “phoenix eyes” into “suay (unlucky) eyes” with droopy eyelids. He said Elaine has avoided him for three months, which was why he decided to go public.

Most commenters on Lee’s Instagram account empathised with him, although several questioned him for going through the trouble of plastic surgery.

The celebrity hairstylist was last in the news after his maid of 14 years stole his Hermes bags and some clothes.
