Since being stuck at home during the circuit breaker period, video calls aren't the only way friends and loved ones have been connecting with each other.
I've had friends who have shared on their Instagram Stories about other friends surprising them with food deliveries and bubble tea (BBT) these past two weeks. Now that the circuit breaker is extending till June, these little gestures are definitely welcome to tide us through these difficult times.
To solidify your relationships and show your friends and family how much you love them, here are some things you can send via delivery that are not food and BBT, to surprise them as we enter into the extended CB period.
Grooming kits

I don't know about the guys in your home, but my husband has stopped shaving since the start of the circuit breaker as his rationale is that he's just going to be staying indoors anyway.
So if you know of someone who needs help in the grooming department, it's time you send them a shaver or grooming kit so they don't look like a caveman until June 1.
Room sprays and essential oils

A little spritz of room spray or fragrance goes a long way in uplifting one's mood and positivity, especially since it can get a little overwhelming being cooped up at home with the whole family.
The queen of organising and zen living, Marie Kondo, shared some tips to turn homes into effective work from home spaces. She said: "I like to spray some incense or fragrance in the air, just to help finish each day with positivity and gratitude."

For the fitness junkies, how about a sanitiser for your yoga mats that's infused with aromatic essential oils and alcohol to kill germs? It also doubles as a fabric freshener for sofa, cushions and curtains.
Craft kits

If your friend is an artsy person, food and drink alone won't be enough to appease them, but a craft kit might just do the job.

These kits aren't limited to art jamming; there are terrarium workshops, soap-making and many more which will help them spend their time more productively while getting their creative juices flowing.
Baking and cooking kits

Staying home for long periods of time can help you discover new talents and pick up new hobbies. If you've trawled through Instagram Stories, chances are most of your friends are suddenly interested in baking and cooking.

The good thing about cooking and baking kits is that you don't end up buying excessive amounts of ingredients as they're already portioned out and are ready for cooking.
Flowers

A quick way to a girl's heart is by sending them flowers, so if you're trying to cheer your friend up or make a romantic move on your crush (yes, love's not dead during this pandemic), score brownie points by sending them a bouquet of flowers to put a smile on their faces.
Books

Staying home during the circuit breaker may not be a difficult task for bibliophiles as they'll have more time to consume more books.
