The best Christmas gifts to get new homeowners this year

Gifting season is just around the corner, and if you're racking your brain on what to get for your loved ones, we've got you covered.

To kickstart our series of gift guides this Christmas, we've polled some new homeowners to find out what's on their wishlist. Bookmark this article if you're planning to visit a new abode!

Scents

When it comes to gifts for new homeowners, you can never go wrong with home fragrances.

Most homeowners we polled want an aroma diffuser, and we found two that would fit in with most aesthetics. The Muji diffuser would be great for minimalist, Japandi and Scandinavian-style homes, while the special edition diffuser from Maison Berger Paris would look great in an industrial, mid-century or art deco-style home.

Other nice-to-have appliances new homeowners wished for were electric bottle openers (we reckon this will come in handy during the festive gatherings), and home security cameras.

Sound system

Sound systems can be a bit of a splurge, but if you're planning to upgrade your home entertainment, here are three options at varying price points.
