Sino Land is Honoured to be Listed in the Dow Jones Sustainability Asia/Pacific Index

HONG KONG, July 5, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- Sino Group is pleased to announce that Sino Land Company Limited ('Sino Land') has been selected as a constituent of the Dow Jones Sustainability Asia/Pacific Index (DJSI Asia Pacific) this year, recognising its sustainability performance in the top 20% of the region. This ESG milestone is a testament to Sino Land's ongoing efforts to formulate and implement ESG strategies and work towards a more sustainable future.

Launched in 1999, the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) were the first global indices to track the financial performance of leading sustainability-driven companies worldwide. As part of the DJSI family, the DJSI Asia Pacific was launched in 2009 to measure the performance of Asia-Pacific sustainability leaders identified by S&P Global through their Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA). Sino Land's inclusion among the constituents of DJSI Asia Pacific indicates that it has scored within the top 20% of the 600 largest companies in the Asia-Pacific developed region in the S&P Global BMI based on long-term economic, environmental and social criteria.

Mr Daryl Ng, Deputy Chairman and Chairman of the ESG Steering Committee of Sino Group, said, 'We are humbled and honoured to be included among the global sustainability leaders in the DJSI Asia Pacific, taking a step further in achieving regional and international ESG standards. Along our sustainability journey, we are fortunate to be able to work hand in hand with enthusiastic and like-minded partners and colleagues. As we move forward, we will persist in our collaborations with the community and business sector to stimulate improvements in ESG and create a brighter future together.'

In addition to being selected for the S&P Global's Sustainability Yearbook earlier this year, Sino Land has also been included in the inaugural S&P Global's Sustainability Yearbook (China) 2023. The recent solid performance of Sino Land's ESG ratings reinforces its position as a sustainability leader in the region and globally.
