The new Xiaomi 13T series also features a collaboration with Leica and features cameras that can deliver that signature Leica look.

The new series features triple cameras co-engineered with Leica, including a 50MP, 24mm wide-angle lens (7P aspherical design), a 50MP, 50mm telephoto lens, and a 12MP, 15mm ultra-wide-angle lens.

On the software front, the phones offer two original Leica photographic styles: Authentic Look and Vibrant Look. Six Leica filters, including the latest Leica Sepia and Leica Blue based on the Leica M (Typ240) Film Mode, pay homage to Leica’s now-legendary look and feel; for those who are not really into the Leica hype, it provides users with a palette of good-looking, creative possibilities.

Like the 13 Ultra, the 13T series of phones has a custom photographic styles function that lets you adjust Tone, Tonality and Texture at the preset stage.

The 13T Pro is capable of recording in 8K (24fps) with OIS and EIS available on the main camera, while the 13T has 4K video capability on all rear cameras.

In addition, the Xiaomi 13T Pro offers 10-bit LOG 4:2:0 H.265 video recording for greater control over colour and detail. It also comes with a pre-installed Rec.709 LUT for a professional-grade colour grading–and look. You can also import your favourite LUT styles as well.

Both phones come with a 6.67″ CrystalRes Display that supports a 144Hz refresh rate, along with 100per cent DCI-P3 coverage and HDR10+ compatibility. The display has a brightness of 1,200 nits and a peak brightness of up to 2,600 nits.

The dual speakers are Dolby Atmos compatible, ensuring an immersive audio experience. In place of the usual Snapdragons, the 13T Pro is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset, while the 13T features a MediaTek Dimensity 8200-Ultra SoC.

Xiaomi says the new phones are more power-efficient, thanks to the 4nm process SoCs and 5,000mm2 VC stainless steel soaking plate to dissipate heat more efficiently. Both phones feature fast charging, with the 13T Pro (120W charging) achieving 36per cent and the 13T (67W charging) achieving 21 per cent charge in just five minutes. The 13T Pro can be fully charged in a ridiculous 19 minutes.

While both IP68-rated (water and dust resistance) phones are available in Alpine Blue, Meadow Green, and Black, there are two types of finishes: the Alpine Blue version features Xiaomi BioComfort vegan leather, offering a luxurious touch while the other two have glossy glass back panels.

The Xiaomi 13T Pro starts from $949 (12GB+512GB), while the Xiaomi 13T is priced at $699 (12GB+256GB). These phones now feature four generations of OS updates and five years of security patches.
