With Elden Ring just past celebrating its first anniversary, it’s now time for the announcement that all Tarnished have been waiting for!
Elden Ring expansion Shadow of the Erdtree has recently been confirmed by publisher Bandai Namco and creator FromSoftware. An announcement with fresh artwork for the next expansion was made via a tweet from the official Elden Ring Twitter account.

The tweet also included an image that seems to depict the Tarnished (or is it Miquella?) walking toward a giant crooked tree while in a wheat field, and surrounded by ghosts. Sadly, Shadow of the Erdtree‘s release date has not yet been announced, but it is expected to release in the coming months.
The original game has won multiple accolades including the best game for 2022 in Geek Culture’s own annual awards. If you’ve not played the game, there’s never a better time than the present in the lead-up to Elden Ring Shadow Of The Erdtree.
Elden Ring is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam.
