Tech consumers in Singapore can still snag their desired gizmos online despite IT Show's postponement.
Several large-scale events have been shelved due to the coronavirus situation, tech shows not excluded.
IT Show 2020, one of the biggest tech exhibitions here, was moved from this month to June, with the safety of consumers in mind.
However, tech lovers can get some consolation in sussing out deals in at least two virtual tech shows by Lazada and Challenger.
LAZADA ONLINE TECH SHOW, MARCH 12-16
Customers can expect up to 80 per cent of storewide discounts from more than 1,000 brands on e-commerce platform Lazada, all in the comfort of their own home.
Some well-known brands to be featured are Apple, Samsung, Dyson and Xiaomi.
Keep a lookout on opening day March 12, as Lazada will be holding a storewide flash sale from 12am to 2am. Several partners such as Citibank, UOB and HSBC are also offering credit card holders exclusive vouchers during the event.
The top 50 spenders during the Lazada Online Tech Show will have the opportunity to win over $16,000 worth of prizes, such as a Samsung Digital Door Lock, Vivo Smart Phone and LG 43-inch TV. Winners will be determined by the highest accumulated amount per account and notified through email or phone.
On March 11, 11pm, customers can also tune in live to count down to the launch of the tech show with Michelle Chong.
Kim Huat (mrbrown) and Lobang King (Wang Weiliang) will also be appearing on Lazada's live stream on March 14 and March 15 respectively at noon.
During the live streams, look out for loot-worthy $88 voucher drops!

While Challenger ValueClub members will be able to enjoy up to 70 per cent off, don't fret if you're not one yet. Customers who sign up during the period of the tech show will get eight months of free membership. This gives them access to member prices online as well as in-store, and the possibility of earning up to 1.5 per cent rebate.
Brands in collaboration with Challenger include Microsoft, Lenovo, Seagate and Apple.
Customers can also look out for exclusive items such as the Skullcandy Crusher ANC Bluetooth Headphones and Wi-Fi routers from Linksys.
