LEGO Star Wars Battles is coming to mobile devices in 2020.
The exciting new title has been announced by Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment, Lucasfilm and The LEGO Group as the popular franchise comes to the App Store and Google Play with iconic vehicles, characters and locations from the sci-fi franchise.
Developed by TT Games Brighton, the game uses real-time, one-on-one multiplayer battles as players mix and match fro all eras of the galaxy to build a deck for either the light or dark side.
Studio head Jason Avent said: "We're very proud to extend the LEGO Star Wars video game legacy with LEGO Star Wars Battles, a new experience built from the ground up for mobile devices.
"We hope players will enjoy the unique combination of LEGO Star Wars with deep strategy in deck building and innovative territory capture by constructing LEGO towers."
Meanwhile, Lucasfilm Games heaped praise on the video game franchise for its continued "unique take" on the saga.
Vice President Douglas Reilly added: "For over 15 years, LEGO Star Wars video games have been offering a unique take on Star Wars, engaging and delighting fans around the world.
