KYOTO, Japan - Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has launched a new track called Singapore Speedway. It will be the game’s first track modelled on a Southeast Asian city, featuring the iconic Merlion statue, the ArtScience Museum and other attractions such as Gardens by the Bay.
The Japanese multinational video gaming company will launch the new track as a Booster Course Pass on March 9, 2023. You may now race in a Merlion-themed cart dubbed the ‘Roaring Racer’ in addition to eight extra courses.
Apart from Singapore, Thailand will be represented with a course called ‘Tour Bangkok Rush,’ which will let you race around the Chao Phraya River and Maeklong Railway Market, as well as the iconic Ratchada night market.
The original Singapore Speedway in Mario Kart Tour had a few distinct modifications. This new Mario Kart 8 Deluxe version maintains the aesthetics but adapts the track for the Nintendo Switch game’s more challenging gameplay.
