What happens when you bring a YouTube comedienne, a celebrity stylist, and a Hollywood pop culture enthusiast together to talk about the Star Awards 2019 red carpet?
Well, you'll have to tune in to AsiaOne's first ever Star Awards Watch Party this Sunday (April 14) to find out as our panel dishes the deets while the stars shine on the Walk of Fame.
But one thing's for sure - you better bring out your finest china because tea will be spilt. After all, this year's instalment already looks set to entertain with a familiar showdown between veterans Zoe Tay and Fann Wong.
Both actresses will be vying for the coveted Best Actress award and this friendly competition is bound to excite the newer generation of viewers while bringing back fond memories for those who grew up watching their performances.
And if that's not enough of a throwback, the industry's golden couple, Fann and Christopher Lee, might even grace the ceremony with their presence as their series Doppelganger garnered five nominations.
Just for good measure, the organisers are also adding more star power to the mix with some of Asia's hottest celebrities.
With Story of Yanxi Palace's Wu Jinyan, Meteor Garden's Jerry Yan, Tawainese actor Blue Lan, and Hong Kong actors Roger Kwok and Cecilia Cheung (this will reportedly mark her first public appearance since the birth of her third child) making an appearance, Star Awards 2019 is poised to be a star-studded affair.
Additionally, Tony Sun (former member of Taiwanese boy band 5566), along with Taiwanese singer-songwriter Eric Chou, Taiwanese Mandopop star Bowie Tsang, and Hong Kong singer-actress Joyce Cheng are said to be performing as well.
So, who will be breaking down the glitzy and glamourous red carpet arrivals by dishing out celebrity gossip and fashion deets?
Let us introduce you to the panel for AsiaOne's Star Awards Watch Party.
