While Asian actors may be a minority in Hollywood and on the red carpet at the recently-concluded Golden Globes, they are certainly not outshone.
The cast of Crazy Rich Asians -- Constance Wu, Gemma Chan, Michelle Yeoh, Ken Jeong, Nico Santos, star of The Good Place, Jameela Jamil, Golden Globes' host Sandra Oh, and presenter Lucy Liu stunned the crowd and photographers alike at the red carpet event on January 6.
Just take a moment to stare and obsess over their flawless outfits.
Constance Wu floated down the red carpet in a Vera Wang number, looking like a princess straight out of a fairytale. With her orange ribbon sash, she reminded us that her presence is our present.
It's too bad her Crazy Rich Asians' arm candy by the name of Nick Young (a.k.a Henry Golding) didn't come with her.
Gemma Chan turned heads in an effervescent petrol blue Valentino Haute Couture gown, proving that she's the queen of making any over-the-top outfit work - just like Astrid Young.
Michelle Yeoh made fans of Crazy Rich Asians scream internally by donning the exact same emerald ring Eleanor Young wore in the movie (yes, the ring is actually hers) as well as a matching green gown.

Ken Jeong matched his purple bow tie to his wife Tran Ho's purple, strapless gown - how cute is this couple?
Nico Santos may be all queer and funny as Oliver T'Sien in Crazy Rich Asians, but he looked effortlessly cool despite 'freaking out' just moments before, according to his Instagram.

Star of The Good Place, Jameela Jamil, wowed on the red carpet in a coral gown with a matching lip colour to boot.
The most epic thing about her outfit? A pair of jeans worn under that dress!

Sandra Oh, co-host of 2019 Golden Globes and winner of Best Actress for her role in Killing Eve, channelled old Hollywood glam in an Atelier Versace dress.
Classy.
Instead of keeping it simple like Sandra, Lucy Liu went with her usual pick for red carpets - loud and playful. This heavily-embellished piece by Galia Lahav certainly made her stand out amongst the mostly monochromatic and pastel crowd.
Unfortunately, that was about all when it came to Asian representation on the red carpet. Now to see what the Oscars hold.
