Surprise! Stefanie Sun dropped by JJ Lin's studio in Taipei with a cake on Wednesday (March 27) to celebrate his 38th birthday.
Her wishes for the singer-songwriter on his special day were just as sweet as the dessert -- that he'd be happy every day and he'd be forever youthful.
Although she's busy with work, Stefanie, 41, took a short break to pay her longtime buddy a visit.

Over the years, the Singaporean Mandopop stars supported each other while they pursued their musical careers beyond our sunny shores.
In 2010, the pair collaborated on the hit song She Said with JJ composing the song and Stefanie penning the lyrics.
And who'd forget his stunning rendition of her song What I Miss on Chinese TV show Sound of My Dream in 2017?

Last March, photos of Stefanie's visit to JJ's studio sparked excitement among fans who wondered if the pair was working on their next project.
One of the snaps showed JJ fiddling with the controls of the mixing console before a 'hard-to-please' music producer Stefanie.
The photo was accompanied by the cheeky caption: "She said… the music assistant needs to work harder?"

Later that year, JJ gave Stefanie a Christmas present she had been eyeing for some time -- a pricey camera that she was hesitant to buy.
But what's more valuable than the gift, she wrote, was the thought behind it -- JJ hoped that she would use it to capture the precious moments in life.
Aww… friendship goals, anyone?
