Jolin Tsai's ex Vivian Dawson finds new love

More than two years since breaking up from Jolin Tsai, Vivian Dawson has officially found new love.

And it's not someone we don't know.

The actor-model confirmed through his manager yesterday (May 29) that he is dating Akemi Katsuki, a friend and semi-celebrity herself, while asking for some space for the couple.

The two had been "very good friends" for years, co-hosting the Taiwanese travel programme Prince's Moving Castle.

Vivian, whose mother is Singaporean and who grew up in New Zealand, first met the Japanese-Brazilian model when she engaged him as a personal trainer for her bodybuilding competition.

Akemi, 32, once told the media that she and Vivian would "never be lovers".

However, when he split from Taiwanese pop diva Jolin in 2016 after six years, he started being seen in public with Akemi.

She told Apple Daily Taiwan that although they go back 10 years, they have only dated for less than a year.

Apart from their offscreen romance, the couple are set to reunite on screen too. They begin filming a new season of Prince's Moving Castle next month.

Vivian, 34, won the 2009 edition of Cleo magazine's Most Eligible Bachelors contest.

Jolin has been single since the split, although there has been speculation linking her to Mayday frontman Ashin.
