Sammi Cheng worked out with Jacqueline Wong, called her 'BB' in video taken last year

According to the Hong Kong media, Sammi has moved out in order to get some space from Andy. She is with family, however, they are concerned that she has closed herself off.

It's reported that she is refusing to sleep, to see anyone, or pick up any calls.

Her record label intends to give her some time off from work so she can rest and recover during this stressful period.

When asked for more details on Sammi's condition, the record label did not have a response.

In one of the biggest scandals to rock the Hong Kong entertainment scene, Andy Hui was caught cheating on his wife of five years, Sammi Cheng, with TVB actress, Jacqueline Wong.

The viral video was posted yesterday (April 17) and showed the pair at the back of a taxi getting intimate by holding hands, hugging, and kissing.

In response, Andy held a press conference at 7pm yesterday to publicly announce his apology to Sammi and called himself a "damaged person".

While Sammi hardly ever appears on her beau's Instagram page, Jacqueline has appeared several times - with Andy even celebrating the latter's 30th birthday in January.

In a shocking reveal, Taiwanese media also reported that Jacqueline and Sammi were gym buddies as they uncovered an Instagram video published on Sammi's feed last year.

In the video, both actresses could be seen smiling and having fun while working out with a personal trainer.

Jacqueline can be heard saying that the workout "feels good" while Sammi cheers her on saying that she's "got it".

The video was also accompanied by a caption with Sammi referring to Jacqueline as "BB", a term of endearment.

GONE DARK

Since news of the scandal broke, Sammi has yet to provide a response and it's understood that she has been busy preparing for her concert in July.

However, eagle-eyed fans have spotted that she has 'gone dark' on Facebook and changed her Facebook cover image to a plain black image.

Just three days ago (April 14), she also posted a video of her walking with crutches due to a tendon infection in February.

According to reports by Hong Kong media, sources close to Sammi expressed their concern that this distressing news might trigger her depression; especially after she made an Instagram post detailing her feelings on the preparations for her upcoming concert.

Andy and Sammi's romance have spanned three decades and they have been married for five years.

Jacqueline, however, is known to be dating fellow TVB actor Kenneth Ma since 2017; with marriage in mind.

In an apology Jacqueline made via TVB executive Virginia Lok today (April 17), she said she was "sorry to her family, company, and boyfriend Kenneth Ma for implicating them in the incident".

It's been reported as well that TVB has requested for her to take a break from work.

Virginia also released a statement from Kenneth where he revealed that he was okay and told fans not to worry about him.

He expressed his desire to continue filming The Exorcist's Meter 2.0 and that the crew need not make allowances for him.
