Simon Yam's leggy daughter sends Chinese internet users into a frenzy

Ella Yam may only be 14 years old but she is already making waves on the Internet.

The daughter of Hong Kong actor Simon Yam and supermodel Qi Qi, the teen has dipped her toes into modelling.

This week, Chinese internet users are wowed by the photos Ella posted on her newly created Weibo account.

In a couple of behind-the-scenes snaps at Vogue Taiwan's photoshoot, the leggy beauty is seen channelling grace through her 1.8-metre stature.

Besides admiring her long pins, Weibo users also likened her to a "fairy" or an "angel", with many writing that she's giving off the vibes of a supermodel.

Just last month, Ella became the youngest model to grace the cover of Cosmopolitan Hong Kong.

Proud mum Qi Qi shared some photos from the spread and wrote on Instagram: "The girl who dislikes dressing up and having her photographs taken has finally tried something she's unfamiliar with. Well done, Ella!"

Indeed, her daughter looked poised and elegant in the photoshoot for the fashion magazine.

Ella first captivated netizens when photos of her shopping with her mum were posted online in 2017.

Her Instagram account currently boasts 1,742 followers despite there only being nine pictures, proof of her rising popularity.

Judging by how positively Ella is being received by the public, it looks like she has potential to follow in the footsteps of her famous celebrity parents Simon Yam and Qi Qi one day.
