Vicki Zhao casts Li Nanxing in her new web drama

Yes, you heard it right - Li Nanxing is set to star in a new web series produced by Chinese superstar Vicki Zhao. 

The local actor revealed the good news in a radio interview with 96.3 Hao FM on May 7, where he also shared that he has signed a contract with Vicki's management company, which would net him more work opportunities in China.

Vicki is the executive producer of new web drama Everyone Wants to Meet You, which also stars popular Chinese celebrities such as actress Zhang Ruonan and actor Zhang Zhehan.

Previously, fans of Nanxing were surprised after Vicki uploaded a photo of them on Instagram, with the caption reading, "In the middle of intense filming for Everyone Wants to Meet You. The entire team is attractive; the producer is quite good-looking as well."

The actor's manager had previously confirmed that he was filming in China till March, before Nanxing revealed the collaboration on air.

The 54-year-old shared that both of them have known each other for 10 years and were introduced to each other by mutual friends. When Vicki approached Nanxing to take on the role, he happily accepted it as he felt the role was a match.

He also let slip that Vicki could be visiting our sunny shores in July and told fans to look forward to both of them working together more often.
