With recent entry restrictions at various wet markets and supermarkets, more Singaporeans are turning to online supermarkets to get their grocery shopping done.

If you are tired of ordering from usual suspects such as Fairprice and Redmart, or struggle to secure a delivery slot within the week, you may want to consider these online wet market stores for fresher food and greater savings.

#1 Marketfresh

MarketFresh is an online wet market that offers groceries freshly acquired from more than 10 stalls at Tiong Bahru Wet Market. Started by fishmonger Khor Chin Puang, who owns Pan's Fish Stall, MarketFresh supplies seasonal and customised items while supporting the wet market stallholders.

Deliveries are sent between 10am to 6pm, depending on daily routes. If you want to have your order delivered at a specific time, you can have your order delivered through Lalamove, which is subjected to additional delivery charges. No deliveries on Mondays.

No minimum purchase. Delivery fee of $12 to $24, free for orders above $68.

#2 Tankfully Fresh

Tankfully Fresh is the online delivery arm of Sin Chwee Mini Mart, a seafood wet market stall at Bukit Batok. Spearheaded by the second-generation of Sin Chwee, Tankfully Fresh aims to deliver the freshest seafood to doorsteps islandwide.

You can customise your orders and ask for the fish to be prepared or cut in specific ways, just like in a wet market. Slicing services may also be done upon request.

There are 3 timeslots for deliveries: 10am to 2pm, 2pm to 6pm and 6pm to 10pm. No deliveries on Mondays.

Minimum purchase: $60, free delivery for all orders

3# Aw's Market

Aw's Market brings access and convenience to fresh produce with its e-commerce site. Having started as a butchery in Serangoon, Aw's Market now has expanded to four physical stores in Singapore.

With its main specialisation in meat products, you can still customise your online order by asking to debone, trim fats, or to scale and gut if you require.

Deliveries are sent between 10am to 2pm or 2pm to 6pm. No deliveries on Mondays.

Minimum purchase: $50. Delivery fee of $8, free for orders above $60.

#4 SGWetMarket

SGWetMarket is a one-stop online wet market that delivers quality vegetables, premium meats and seafoods, and dry products from wet markets around Singapore.

Its physical store in Hougang has been around since 1985, offering a wide selection of produce flown in from neighbouring countries. With an online wet market, customers can readily get access to fresh produce from the comfort of their homes.

Deliveries are sent from 8am to 12pm. No deliveries on Monday.

Minimum purchase: $60 for vegetables, $100 for meat/seafood. Delivery fee of $4 to $6, free for orders above $200.

#5 Lian Huat Seafood

While Lian Huat Seafood supplies fresh seafood to wet market stalls and restaurants, its fishmonger now turns to Facebook Live to auction his produce.

Lian Huat Seafood is an online wholesale seafood supplier, selling seafood directly from Jurong Fishery Port for customers to bid.

On Tuesdays to Saturdays, the fishmonger, Max Kee, would stream live on Facebook from 10pm to 1am. Customers can bid through the Facebook Livestreams, or make their order via WhatsApp.

No minimum purchase, free for orders above $60. $5 surcharge for orders below $60.

#6 C J Low High Grade Beef

For more than 40 years, C J Low High-Grade Beef has been selling premium and high-quality beef to customers at Tekka Market. Now, after Tekka Online Market's new online initiative, they have started selling their beef to customers online.

The butcher offers various beef cuts such as striploin, ribeye, tenderloin, or prime cuts such as black angus or wagyu for customers. To order, send a private message on Facebook with your delivery details.

No minimum purchase, free for orders above $60. $8 surcharge for orders below $60.
