Some of the more popular airlines amongst Singaporeans are Singapore Airlines (SIA), SilkAir, Emirates, Jetstar Asia, Cathay Pacific and Scoot.
The entry-level salary depends a lot on your schedule and the countries you fly to. Here's an estimate of the average salary for a cabin crew:

HOW MUCH DOES CABIN CREW MAKE?

SINGAPORE AIRLINES (SIA) CABIN CREW/ AIR STEWARDESS SALARY
Junior cabin crew typically earn about $4,000 per month after including allowance. We take a look at the breakdown of their salary.
Do note that their basic salary only makes up about half of the salary they are drawing.
This means that the total salary depends heavily on their flight schedule and the destination they are assigned to.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SINGAPORE AIRLINES (SIA) CABIN CREW:
- Singapore citizen
- Minimum age of 18 years old due to legislative requirements
- Fulfil the minimum height requirement of at least 1.58m for females and 1.65m for males in order to carry out safety and emergency procedures onboard
- Fluent in English with good communication skills
SILKAIR CABIN CREW/AIR STEWARDESS SALARY

REQUIREMENTS FOR SILKAIR CABIN CREW
- Applicant must have a minimum of 3 GCE 'O' Level or 4 GCE 'N' Level credits, including English.
- Applicant Height - For Female - 1.58m and for males at least 1.65m required.
- Completed, are exempted from or are not liable for National Service.

REQUIREMENTS FOR EMIRATES AIRLINES CABIN CREW:
- At least 21 years of age at the time of joining
- Arm reach of 212 cm while standing on tiptoes
- Minimum height of 160 cm
- High school graduate (Grade 12)
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- No visible tattoos while you're in Emirates cabin crew uniform (cosmetic and bandage coverings aren't allowed)
- Can adapt to new people, new places and new situations
- Physically fit for this demanding role with a healthy Body Mass Index (BMI)
CATHAY PACIFIC

JETSTAR AIRLINES CABIN CREW/AIR STEWARDESS SALARY
If you are joining Jetstar as a cabin crew, you will need to pay $1,000 in cash in advance. This $1,000 acts as a bond penalty and will be refunded to you after 2 years of service.
However, if you leave Jetstar within a year you will need to pay an additional $850. Leave after a year, the $1,000 will be forfeited.
