Looking to stand out this durian season?

Wearing the Hexmariner 39 Durian on your wrist might just do the trick.

Watch collectors and durian lovers alike are likely to take notice of this limited-edition timepiece from Malaysian brand Revelot.

The watch is set to drop on Friday (July 18), according to the brand's website.

The price isn't stated there yet, though according to Malaysian publication Says.com, early birds can get their hands on the Hexmariner 39 Durian for RM1,388 (S$417). After that, it retails at RM,1688.

It'll be available in limited quantities on Revelot.com and at select Timekeeper outlets, according to Says.com.

Describing the watch as a "bold tribute to Malaysia's iconic fruit", Revelot is looking to not just celebrate the durian but to also elevate its symbol into something more refined, said the brand on its website.

The watch's dial is deep green, similar to the durian's thorny exterior while the warm yellow indices resemble the fruit's golden flesh and also ensures legibility in low light.

A nice touch is the tiny durian-shaped detail that sits towards the end of the second hand.

The overall colour palette continues on its bezel, with the durian-green unidirectional ceramic bezel paired with yellow lume-filled markers.

Flip the watch over and you'll spot a durian silhouette on the caseback, tying the entire theme together.

According to the brand's website, the Hexmariner 39 Durian is fit for daily wear, among other styles.

In the lead-up to the launch, Revelot released a campaign ad on July 14 featuring Malaysian model Nia Atasha as well as an actual durian.

In the video, Nia is seen flaunting the timepiece while picking and savouring the fruit.
