Who says romance is dead during this coronavirus pandemic? Even when we're stuck at home, people are getting creative with the ways they find love.
New Yorker Jeremy Cohen showed how one can beat the odds, after successfully asking a girl out from his neighbourhood even while under self-quarantine, like many others in the city.
Detailing the process in a three-part video on his Instagram account, the 28-year-old photographer explained how he managed to approach this "quarantine cutie" dancing on the rooftop just across his apartment.

He said: "Flirting has normally been daunting for me, but since I've been quarantined in my apartment for a week now, I've been craving some social interaction."
After she waved back at him, he seized the chance to connect with her by writing his number on a paper and stuck it on a drone.
An hour after picking up his number from the drone, he received a text from her. They managed to hit off and he asked her out on a virtual date.

Roping in her roommate (wait, how did he get her number too?) he managed to ask her to help him set up a table draped with a tablecloth on the rooftop for their romantic date.
Their sweet budding romance has since become a running series on his Instagram account, culminating in the pair eventually meeting, but not without being socially responsible, of course.
Cohen put himself in a giant inflatable "human hamster ball" and took a walk with her on the street — another really smart dating idea if you're a bit of a germaphobe during this season.

So if you're all glum about not being able to find a date because of the coronavirus, let this love story give you some hope that we can still find love in a hopeless place, if you just use some creativity.
