Pregnancy and giving birth is one of the most exciting yet nerve-wracking things for a mother to experience.

No matter how many pregnancies a mum has gone through, each birth will never feel the same, altering her life a little more differently than it originally was.

So we cannot imagine how it is like for Sue Radford, mum of 22 children who had spent more than 800 weeks of her life being pregnant.

In fact, the 45-year-old from Britain recently welcomed her 22nd child on 3 April after a ten-hour hour labour, reported the Sun.

The younger kids in the Radford family took to the little one when they met for the first time.

It was a heartwarming sight to witness as they cradled the newborn excitedly while being "amazed" by her — the 11th girl in the household.

Adorable pictures were also taken of them together.

Family had been in isolation

Born in the time of the coronavirus, Sue described her baby's birth as her "strangest" yet with fears clouding her head.

The family was said to be in isolation then and Sue felt that there could be risks by leaving their house to visit the hospital.

“I was more scared than I had ever been going into hospital with everything going on with the virus."

But things turned out well once they arrived at the hospital.

Sue even vowed that the newborn would be the final child of her extensive family. Though... previous reports mentioned that she had said the same in the post.

Undecided on baby's name

It was said that no name had been decided at the time of her baby's birth.

“We can’t settle on a name we all like, but we can't register her now anyway because of corona.”

It was only until recently that the Radford family named their baby and revealed it to be "Heidie" via Instagram on 13 April.

But despite what the family had gone through thus far due to Covid-19, Sue said that "it was actually one of the best experiences [she] have had".

Together with her 49-year-old husband, Noel, the couple had their first child when Sue was 14 years old.
