For today's recipe, we show you how easy it is to make Milo tiramisu with items you probably have already have in your kitchen.
Sometimes after a long day, all you want is a nice sweet treat to reward yourself. So why not whip up this very easy-to-make tiramisu that uses an item that every Singaporean is familiar with? And the best part is that it's kid-friendly as no alcohol is used, so it can be served up to the little ones at home too!
Here's the AsiaOne take on this sweet treat.
Ingredients
Makes 2 Milo tiramisu portions
- 4 slices bread
- 10g sugar
- 30g Milo powder
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk
Steps
- Stack 2 slices of bread together. Slice off the edges of the bread and shape it to fit your pan before placing it inside. Repeat step for remaining 2 slices into a separate pan.
- Add Milo powder, milk, sugar and egg into a bowl and mix well.
- Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celcius.
- Place a slice of bread in the pan and strain the Milo mixture in. Ensure that the bread is soaked well in the mixture.
- Add another slice of bread into the pan and place into oven to bake for 20 mins.
- Remove from oven when done and add a generous heaping of Milo powder on top. Additional toppings like grated chocolate can be added according to your preference.
Dig in and enjoy your Milo tiramisu!
