i Light Marina Bay 2018 is back in its sixth edition this month till April 1 at the bay area.

Designed with energy-saving lights and recycled or environmentally-friendly materials, the light art installations are meant to serve as reminders to encourage festival-goers and the public to adopt sustainable habits in their everyday lives. Apart from the artworks, the festival also has fun games and activities in store.

Here's what to see and do at our city's biggest sustainable light art festival.

Festivals/Celebrations

Evergreen explores how our world can be traditional but modern, organic and natural but high tech and digital, robotic but human at the same time. 

Octopoda is an interactive artwork that features eight "tentacle" drums which light up when passers-by hit the drums.

Passage is an immersive, minimalist, contemplative and interactive artwork that explores the emotional connections we develop with light and sound. 

Kloud is an interactive light installation that connects people and the colours of their ever-changing emotions. The audience can touch the clouds to disrupt its lights. 

Chandelier of Spirits not only shines brighter when there are more people around it, but it also sings and creates a harmonious chimes sound when the breeze blows.

Visitors can send a tweet using the hashtag #ilightmarinabay which will then be displayed on the MailboX engaging the sender with the audience around the installation. 

Inspired by the gentle sways of the lalang plant, Light Breeze is a tribute to the overlooked and diminishing flora and fauna within Singapore’s ever urbanising landscape. 

With love... This heart takes the pulse of the city by sensing the light, the temperature, the atmospheric pressure.

Known as the largest experiential inflatable playground in Singapore, this year's ART-Zoo will introduce a brand new line-up of larger-than-life inflatable characters to welcome visitors of all ages. 

It includes characters you might have seen around Singapore to mythical creatures from our imaginations.

It will be open from Monday-Friday, 5-10pm at The Float @ Marina Bay.
