Taiwanese actors Alyssa Chia, Xiu Jie Kai tie the knot in Bali

Three years after registering their marriage, Taiwanese actors Alyssa Chia and Xiu Jie Kai have finally walked down the aisle.

In a seaside wedding ceremony in Bali, the couple exchanged their vows before family and friends on Sunday (Nov 25).

The 44-year-old bride was moved to tears when Xiu, who is nine years her junior, told her: "We often say that we will create memories of our own - not our children's - together, and today will be the most beautiful chapter of our story."

And their daughters Bubu, three, and Bobo, one, made the most adorable flower girls along with their step-sister Angelina, 12, from Chia's first marriage to Chinese businessman Sun Zhihao.

At the dinner party, guests were serenaded by Jam Hsiao while actors Mark Chao and Ou Han-Sheng took to the dance floor.

The evening ended with the family of five watching a lovely display of fireworks.
