A national athlete turned professional Valorant player, Danial “RedKoh” Hakim started his journey in esports as a pro player for Louvre, a Singaporean Valorant team.

In 2022, he made the switch to coaching in TSM X, but has since pivoted back to being a player by joining X10 Esports.

Danial shares with AsiaOne about the lessons he’s learnt as both a player and a coach, distinguishing the difference between the two and revisiting the sacrifices he’s made in order to achieve success and make a living through esports.
