● Uniqlo clinched the most popular employer award, garnering more than 25,000 applications and 4,000 shares by job seekers across its hiring positions

SINGAPORE, Feb 21, 2023 - FastJobs, Singapore's leading non-executive job platform, crowns the 2022 winners of its inaugural Employer Awards. The awards celebrate the best performing employers in their recruitment efforts among non-executive roles and winners were selected based on popularity of their job postings that are tracked by FastJobs.

Uniqlo Singapore claimed the crown of most popular employer among non-executive job seekers, achieving over 25,000 applications and 4,000 shares by job seekers for jobs posted in 2022. Second and third place went to Daiso Singapore and Crocs Singapore respectively.

With more than 280,000 job postings on the FastJobs platform in 2022, hiring in the non-executive segment can be highly competitive. FastJobs saw an increase of almost 2.5 times in job postings across the Sales/Retail/Marketing segment from 2021 to 2022. This mirrors the trend of rising demand for manpower as retail surges ahead during post-pandemic recovery.

Uniqlo has been an active employer on the FastJobs platform, as evidenced by their presence among the Top 10 winners in the category of Most Responsive Employers in addition to their win in the Most Popular Employer category. Their popularity among jobseekers on FastJobs is testament to their responsiveness, strong brand equity, and a carefully planned recruitment marketing strategy.

Mr. Julian Tan, Founder & CEO of FastCo, said, ''The rising demand for manpower creates a competitive market for employers as they vie for the attention of non-executive jobseekers. FastJobs wants to take this opportunity to celebrate employers who have won the hearts of non-executive jobseekers and highlight their success for others to follow. We know that many businesses may face a manpower crunch as everyone rushes to match increased customer demand and we want to be there to help businesses meet their hiring needs."

Finalists of the most popular employer award were shortlisted if they have offered more than 10 different job positions throughout 2022. FastJobs then ranks the finalists according to the volume of average job applications received per job posting and number of shares by jobseekers.

In total there are 5 award categories for the FastJobs Employer Awards:
