Post Malone tipped a bartender US$20,000 (S$27,000) on Christmas Eve.

The hitmaker — whose real name is Austin Post — generously left single mother Renee Brown, 29, the life-changing sum when he visited The Railyard in Houston, Texas on Dec 24.

Brown admitted the gift was a "Christmas miracle" as she has been struggling to make ends meet, juggling working two jobs.

She plans to use the money for her commutes and rent and will also set some aside for her new business idea, which would enable her to spend more time with her little girl.

She told Music Mayhem: "Going into work Christmas Eve, I was so sad I had to leave my baby girl to go to work. Oblivious that God would send me a Christmas miracle. This is hands down the most humble, personable celebrity I've had the pleasure of meeting. He changed my life on Christmas Eve, and will forever be grateful. Thank you so much, Austin."

She continued: "This put me in a position to at least be able to get a way back and forth to work and pay up on rent and save a bit. I'm trying to save up to start a business, so I don't have to continue working two jobs and be able to spend more time with my daughter.

"Things have been extremely difficult, and this was truly a blessing that I can't fully put into words.

"The visit alone was absolutely amazing and something I could talk about and remember for the rest of my life."

The 29-year-old star — who grew up in Grapevine, Texas — visited the bar the night before he joined Beyonce to perform their collaboration LEVII'S JEANS during her headline halftime performance at the Houston Texans and Baltimore Ravens' Christmas Day game at the city's NRG Stadium.

Following the appearance, he posted to X: "Thank you @Beyonce so much for havin me out in Houston, and on your beautiful record. Also, thank you for sharin your talent and art with the world. I love you (sic)"
