Remember South Korea darlings -- Daehan, Minguk and Manse -- who captured hearts (and screens) worldwide with their adorable antics back in 2014 on hit reality programme The Return of Superman?
Not even they are spared from racists attacks, according to a recent interview that media outlet Newsen conducted with their father, popular actor Song Il Kook.
According to reports, the Song family were based in France for the past year, as Song's wife, who works as a judge, was posted there for a study trip. They have since returned home.
During the interview, Song shared about their time abroad -- which had not been a bed of roses due to the family facing instances of racial discrimination.
Song recalled a time when the triplets were playing innocently at a playground when someone threw a bottle full of urine at them.
"We met nasty people -- from those who cursed at us solely for being Asian to those who threw a bottle of urine towards the kids while they were playing on the playground," he was quoted as saying.

Understandably, Song said he'd "never been so angry" and "used every curse word that (he) knew" to fight back against those who harmed his children.
However, their time in a foreign country was not all bad, as Song believes it was educational for his children to live in an environment where no one recognised them.

Based on a report in 2015, his three-year-olds were raking in $4.26 million in endorsement deals alone.
According to the same article, the Song triplets are growing up fast and have begun their first year in elementary school.
"They’re adjusting well," Song reassured fans.
"They were born on the same day from the same belly, but it’s amazing how different their personalities are.
"I wonder what’s the best way to care for each of their different energy levels and personalities.

"They were also assigned to three different homerooms, so it’s triple the work (at school) too," continued Song.
For those who miss the triplets, daddy Song provides regular updates of his children on his Instagram page.
