Paradise Hotpot opens its largest outlet at VivoCity - here's what to expect

Riding on the success of its first three outlets, Paradise Hotpot is opening its newest and largest outlet at VivoCity on Thursday (June 19).
The buffet chain, which specialises in Hong Kong-style hotpot, has three other outlets at Compass One, Punggol Coast Mall and Westgate.
The newest outlet spans 10,617 sq ft big and has 380 seats, making it Paradise Hotpot's largest outlet.
Similar to its other branches, the VivoCity restaurant has all-you-can-eat individual hotpots and three speciality sets to choose from.
All sets include one hotpot soup base, unlimited snacks and ice cream, as well as free-flow drinks and condiments.
The most basic is the Pork and Chicken Value Set (from $19.90), where diners can enjoy free-flow sliced pork belly, sliced pork collar and marinated sliced chicken thigh.
The Beef and Seafood Premium Set (from $25.90) comes with everything in the Pork and Chicken Value Set, with the addition of sliced US beef, sliced lamb, sliced kurobuta pork, sliced premium pork collar, scallop, white sea prawn, fresh sliced fish, ebiko prawn paste and prawn dumplings.
For an even more indulgent dining experience, get the Wagyu Beef Luxury Set (from $37.90) which offers everything from the Pork and Chicken Value Set and the Beef and Seafood Premium Set, along with rolls of Australian and US Wagyu beef, Japan pork belly and abalone prawn paste.
What makes or breaks a good hotpot is the soup base and Paradise Hotpot has nine broths to choose from.
This includes the Authentic Pork Bone Soup Base, Satay Soup Base and Century Egg with Coriander Soup Base.
Apart from cooking ingredients in individual hotpots, diners get to enjoy range of Hong Kong-style hot dishes like Braised Mixed Beef Offal, Stir-fried Noodle with Supreme Soy Sauce and Curry Fishballs.
There are also several fried snacks to nibble on like Chicken Nuggets, Spam Fries and Crisp-fried Mantou.
For dessert, diners can enjoy a cold treat from the ice cream machine or make their own mini pancakes with the pancake machine. There are more refreshing options too, like Beancurd and Grass Jelly.
All desserts are customisable with an array of toppings like chewy pearls, sprinkles and chocolate sauce.
In celebration of the opening of Paradise Hotpot's fourth outlet, the restaurant is offering a limited-time promotion where one diner eats for free with every two paying adults.
The promotion is valid from June 19 to 25.
