Pomme cafe set to close its doors on Nov 19, offering 30% off on all dishes

It's sad to hear the news that Pomme cafe is leaving the Clarke Quay neighbourhood come Nov 19.
The cafe took to Instagram to announce its departure from the F&B scene yesterday (Oct 24), with caption that read: "It is with mixed emotions that we share the news that Pomme will be closing its doors permanently."
The cafe cited "the rising food costs and the severe shortage of manpower in the F&B Industry" as the reasons behind its closure.
As a way to thank its customers, Pomme is offering a 30 per cent discount on its ala carte items on the menu, with no minimum spending.
Pomme is known for its Instagram-worthy desserts that are literal works of art.
For instance, the visually enchanting Gentle Daisy ($9) is a tart adorned with a white flower.
Another highlight is its namesake cake ($11.50), which comes in the form of a green apple.
A dessert that stands out is the black sesame-flavoured Pebble cake ($9.50), known for its uncanny resemblance to an actual pebble.
Pomme's menu extended beyond sweets to savoury dishes.
For mains, you've got plates of pasta with creative renditions like chipotle bolognese tagliatelle ($24) and creamy gochujang fusilli ($18).
Other highlights include beef short ribs ($24), creamy Tuscan salmon ($26) and miso halibut with risotto ($28).
Despite being only established in 2022, Pomme has received an impressive 4.5-star rating on Google reviews.
A diner particularly praised the Pebble cake for its light black sesame mousse.
