In case you haven't heard, with stricter social distancing measures in response to rising coronavirus cases, all cinemas, bars and entertainment venues will be closed from 11.59pm tonight until April 30.

So what's one to do? Well, you can stay home and party on, thanks to a partnership between nightclub Zouk, homegrown gaming company Razer, and live streaming platform Bigo.

According to a press statement released on Wednesday (March 25), the country's iconic nightclub will be curating a series of closed-door sets that will stream exclusively to viewers on Razer's Bigo Live channel.

The event will be held on March 27 at 8pm and is touted to be Southeast Asia's first "cloud clubbing experience".

And sticking to how Bigo live streams work, viewers will be able to interact with DJs via the Livestream chat, and send virtual gifts using Razer's virtual currency — which you'll have to pay real money for, of course.

The gaming company added that it will be donating a portion of any proceeds accumulated to the government to aid in its fight against Covid-19. [[nid:482152]]

But if clubbing at home still sounds rather sad, you can look on the bright side -- at least you'll be saving some money (just don't go crazy splashing out on virtual currency). You won't have to pay expensive cover charges or overpriced drinks, and you can truly dance like no one's watching.

OTHER ATTRACTIONS

Otherwise, if you're hoping to still catch a bit of sunshine outside the home, most attractions in Singapore will still be open, with the usual temperature checks and other precautionary measures in place.

The ArtScience Museum at Marina Bay Sands will be reopening Friday (March 27), with enhanced safe distancing and capacity control measures, though tours have been cancelled. Queue markers will also be in place in the galleries, because safe distancing

Over at Gardens by The Bay, capacity will be reduced at its indoor attractions and all visitors will be required to submit a travel declaration form. And at the National Gallery, visitors who have been overseas within the last 14 days will be barred from entering.

The Singapore Zoo and other parks managed by the Wildlife Reserves Singapore will remain open, but some sections, shows and feeding sessions will be suspended temporarily.
