It may have been a HKD400,000 (close to S$70,000) payday for the driver who allegedly sold the incriminating footage showing Hong Kong singer Andy Hui canoodling with actress Jacqueline Wong in the backseat of a car.
The driver reportedly received the large sum of money from media outlet Apple Daily Hong Kong for the 16-minute clip, which showed the pair hugging, kissing and touching during their ride back to Jacqueline's home.
A forum commenter, however, has alleged that the figure is far higher - up to HK$1.5 million (S$258,755) for a total of three clips.
The individual revealed that the video which went viral captured just the first part of the journey. It is not clear if the vehicle was a taxi, hired car or private car.

These reports have so far been unverified.
The racy clip has also sparked a wave of privacy concerns about hidden cameras installed by drivers, reported South China Morning Post (SCMP).
A lawyer whom SCMP spoke to said the vehicle driver and Apple Daily could have breached privacy laws in the city.
He added that drivers should declare that there is an onboard camera so that passengers can make the choice whether to get on.
The two main players in the saga - Andy and Jacqueline, have both expressed regret over the incident, while their partners remained silent on the matter.
Andy, 51, made a tearful public apology the evening of Tuesday (April 16) when news first broke, calling himself a 'broken' man. He apologised to singer-actress Sammi Cheng, his wife of five years, and said that he'll be stopping all work commitments to "find my true self".

On Wednesday, TVB actress Jacqueline published a statement expressing regret and apologised to those affected, including her family, her boyfriend, actor Kenneth Ma, his family, as well as her company. Most glaringly, however, the 30-year-old omitted any mention of Sammi.
